Robbinsdale Area Schools has named a Golden Valley middle school teacher as its teacher of the year.
Billie Pace-Graczyk-Melson teaches life and earth science at Sandburg Middle School. She previously taught at FAIR School Crystal and Armstrong High School.
Pace-Gracyzk-Melson says she’s “honored and humbled” by the recognition.
Sandburg Principal John Groenke says the true winners of the the award are the students who have her as their teacher.
